Our Karate for Kids classes are designed using teaching methods specifically tailored to children. It's a great way for kids to get in shape and have fun doing it! Our curriculum focuses on three areas:
- Traditional Martial Arts -- mental and physical conditioning through the traditional martial art of taekwondo ("Korean karate").
- Character Development -- class activities reinforce the martial arts life skills of courtesy, loyalty, respect, positive attitude, perseverance, honor, self-control, and integrity.
- Bully/Abduction Prevention -- using the nationally-recognized Kidz 'n' Power program, we teach students how to deal with potential abduction, as well as the neighborhood bully.
